The entertainment and production industry is one that can include long working hours, days, or weeks, often with times away from home, and can be a challenging and fast paced environment.
It is important as an industry, and as individuals that we manage and address mental health for our owns sake, and also for that of our colleagues.
Having a good mental is important, and having poor mental health should not discriminate an individual.
The past 24 months has been a challenge not only for our industry, but also our mental health.

Menopause Support

In partnership with the NHS, Dr Louise Newson provides a wealth of Information via the “Balance App” to support all things Menopause.
The app gives you the opportunity to log symptoms daily, and regularly provides informative links for better menopause wellbeing.

SHOUT

SHOUT is an organisation that is able to offer immediate support and help. Simply texting ‘SHOUT’ to 85258 will enable a conversation with trained staff who are on hand to offer support, guidance and listen to your concerns
CALM

The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) provide phone support to anyone struggling with mental health and feeling suicidal.
Their helpline and webchat is open 365 days a year to listen, talk and help with any struggles you or someone you know may be having.
MIND

MIND offer help to anyone that needs it by providing information, advice and local services specific to mental health.
Mind offer an info line together with legal support relating to mental health related law.
